Ence's Aerial Steps Down From Active Roster For Sick Leave

Jani "Aerial" Jussila will step down from Ence's active roster, for an undisclosed period of time. Ence announced on Thursday that Aerial has notified the organization that he is on sick leave.

In light of this change of events, Ence has made it clear that they are currently assessing their options for a replacement. Their next tournament will be from November 6 to November 22, leaving them with about a month to decide.

Aerial has been a part of Ence since the organization reentered the Counter-Strike scene, in April of 2018. During Ence's win at Blast Pro Series Madrid, Aerial was named the Most Valuable Player(MVP).

According to Aerial's statement, he described that he has been unable to perform at his best due to what he described as "issues with my wellbeing". For the past six months, he has averaged a team-low 0.96 rating.

This leaves Ence with:

Aleksi "allu" Jalli

Jere "sergej" Salo

Mikka "suNny" Kemppi

Elias "Jamppi" Olkkonen

Player burnout is becoming more and more common these days, with Astralis taking the first step in recovery by introducing their 6-man roster. Ence's performance has been going down, ever since their addition of suNny, a roster move that I still can't understand. Hopefully, Aerial takes the time to recover, but in the meantime, Ence will have to find a player capable of replacing Aerial.
