According to a report from TV2.dk, Es3tag will play his last tournament for Astralis in Dreamhack Open Fall, set to start tomorrow. If the deal goes through, Es3tag will link up with in-game leader Alex "Alex" McMeekin, awper Ozgur "Woxic" Eker, William "mezii" Merriman, and Ricky "floppy" Kemery.
Es3tag officially joined Astralis in July 1st, 2020, as the team's sixth man. Throughout his tenure in Astralis, Es3tag has been in form, averaging a 1.12 rating over 36 official maps played. Under Es3tag, Astralis were able to snag first place in the European division of ESL Pro League Season 12.
Ever since Es3tag was still on Heroic, I've said how he was really consistent and a solid anchor. He proved this by consistently performing during his time on Astralis, and has been the deciding factor in some of the teams victories. I do think Astralis would agree to some deal, seeing as how the team still has Bubski on standby. If Es3tag joins Cloud9, I would assume he take on some of the harder roles, like anchoring sites, so the young guns of floppy and mezii can rise up.
