God. Is he real?

To start with, I am agnostic. My parents aren't religious, but my grandmother is. I'm going into this without reading the bible, just from a stand alone viewpoint. I also want to point out that I'm not disagreeing with everything in the bible, I'm just perplexed at how you can actually prove that a higher being, God, is present.

I do have some issue with some of the writing. For example, masturbating is a sin. In all honesty, more than half of all teenagers have sinned. However, the bigger question is how is that wrong though. Something so small is considered a sin? Sex before marriage? How is that wrong? I think that's just human. Also, tattoos. ”You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the Lord.”( Leviticus 19:28). Like seriously, a tattoo? Meaning no disrespect, that's like the government telling us to stay in lockdown because they are the government. (OK maybe that comparison wasn't strong but still)

I never understood when a person was in an accident and they didn't get hurt and they're saying "God is real!!!". "Usually situations like this means serious injuries but God was looking out for me!! He has a plan!!" Like ok, so what about all the other thousands of people that have died from the same accident? Was that "God's Plan?" If it was, isn't God biased? Why is he sending certain people to heaven faster than others? Don't we all deserve to live? Or maybe it was a coincidence. Maybe coincidently, your windshield was able to stop the impact of the rod, which coincidently was not as fast due to the coincidently lower winds in the area, and the coincidently slightly less angled of the car in front of you that ran over it to launch it your direction. Furthermore, the person is now officially a believer, and tries telling everyone else about this divine interference and how its proof of a higher being watching over him. Ok cool. Make it happen to me too. I'm not just going to believe something just because it happened to you. I've learned my mistake from all those pyramid schemes and "get rich quick" fakes online. They too, "made it" and want us to trust them because you know, it happened to them.

Most people are born into Christianity. Their parents baptized them, and they've read the bible. If I had a baby boy and I raised him under the influence that vaccines cause autism, and I come up with a bunch of insanely coincidental reasons why that is the case, he is most likely going to believe vaccines cause autism. However, as he develops into a young man and is exposed to the outside world, and factual evidence, he will slowly, most likely, reconsider this ingrained notion he'd grown up believing.

Also I don't understand this concept of if you don't discover and accept Jesus, you are doomed or something. Isn't it like, Jesus's' job to show to me he is real? What, I'm supposed to just take some made up words at its truth? It doesn't apply to me, so I can't see a world where logically, I accept it. I'll give God a chance when he indicates his existence to me first through reliable means. Moreover, if God is all powerful and all knowing, why he be making all these extra religions, if Christianity is indeed the one true religion? Why does he stand by and allow racism and other horrible things, be it in the past or present, to carry on? Is it to "test us"? Because if it is, we really failed. Like super hard. And then what? We are going to be punished for something that's not our fault? Why couldn't God make it easy on himself and just have us all worship him. Also why just punish us because we failed to believe in him? Humanity has advanced so far in the past thousand years, and sure we have some pressing flaws, but we should also be proud of our advancement.
