The Secret Service's uniformed officer division have been struck with a breakout of Covid-19 cases. At least 60 officers were asked to quarantine while 30 have tested positive for the virus, based on a debriefing.
The uniformed officer division is different from the more well-known Secret Service agents who guard the president and his/her family. This division offers protection for physical locations, such as the White House. The division is also in charge of screening crowds at public events.
